Can't clone for the life of me 2007/11/13 23:28
So here we go again. By go I mean going down.

The last two times I tried to clone it didnt work out.

This time however, I have purchased a humidity dome, cloning cubes & from what I understand, things should be fine.

I cut on a 45 degree angle, dipped them into rooting gel, and stuck them into the individual cubes. Misted them in the humidity dome and put the CFL above them.

After 4 days, they are looking quite sad and droopy and I dont think this is meant to happen.

Thanks in advance.

There is a chance that you have to much vegitation. Try trimming your clones down. The bigger the clone, the more nutrients it will require to survive, if the roots are not there to support it, you can expect certain death.

Cloning is easy!

-Soak Cubes in a solution of Vita-Mix + Hygrozyme for 1 day prior

-Cut cones & use root hormone

-Replace solution with fresh solution for 4 days every day leaving about 1cm in the tray

-Keep dome on for whole process, lift daily and blow a breath of fresh air

Most importantly, you must keep the cubes @ a slightly higher temp than the ait surrounding the canopy.

To do this, get a cardboardbox about the size of the tray, lay it on its side and place a lamp inside as a heat source, then all you have to do is place your tray on top. (Down burn your house down)

Try these steps and maybe you will have better success!
