i keep some Hygrozyme around to prevent root rot from low dissolved oxygen in hydroponics when it is really too warm in the summer.
i highly suggest hygrozyme if you can afford it. helping keep great vibrant roots in borderline temps
I agree. GH is great. Try some stuff called hygrozyme, its expensive but well worth every penny. Go a little lighter than the bottle says, just to be safe. Do some research on feeding. With hydro if you are doing flood and drain then there are many different times and durations to feed. 4-5 times per cycle with a 20 minute flood works well if you have a medium such as hydroton or silica rocks. But with something that hold more water like rockwool you want to water less because it hold much more water. This is the very tip of the iceberg, you should do some extensive reading to see whats best for you. GL

I think we've come a long way with Hygrozyme and it's just about the best hydroponics 'cleansing' product out there, but Drip Clean has the nutritional value we're looking for, so Hygrozyme is typically a catylist, used at around ~8 ml./per gal.
ive ran my aero cloner for 3 months straight @ 75-85 degrees with hygrozyme. cant run without root rot for more than 2 weeks without it, or with any other enzyme on the market, following the label instructions.If you add hygrozyme to a bucket of shit it wont make gold. If you follow the directions on the bottle from day one with a clean res you will have the results you are seeking.
Simply an excellent product.Prevents root rot.My water temps are in the low 80's(getting a chiller soon) and not a sign of anything nasty in the water.Will also make your roots explode.VERY big thumbs up from me.Be warned though.Roots EXPLODE.
i use GH3 rockwool,e&f, and my res stays pretty stable for the first 3-4 days and then climbs maybe .2 a day at the most.ialso add hygrozyme and H2O2...dont know if that helps.i would guess somethin to do with hydroton just cause other factors seem close.good luck oh...i use 24hr tap water
